K.K Song Request

I literally just requested Wild World from K.K, he proceeded to play the song and then he said he didn't know the song afterward and I didn't get a copy. how?? did I do something wrong??

It’s a coincidence. That song cannot be requested but is played as one of his random songs when you request an unrecognized song. It just happened to come up for you.

Invalid songs (not obtainable)
The songs listed below cannot be bought and these three new songs are played when an invalid request is made to K.K. In the games' files, these are called Hazure01, Hazure02, and Hazure03 (Hazuremeaning "miss" in Japanese). Hazure01 is a cover of the Title Themefrom Wild World and City Folk.

that happened to me when i requested bubblegum kk. i tried ti several time before i got to work by typing it in all caps and putting the dots between the k's. not all songs require all caps though. most r just the first letter and the k's. also if you request a song that has the accent mark you have to put that in or it wont work. i really dont get why they programmed it like that its dumb. and it really annoys me that ur forced to listen to the whole thing before he tells you he doesnt know it. at least tell us in the beginning

So he has like secret mistake songs and that's one of them.
It's kind of interesting the request triggered him to play it. Usually misspellings are what trigger it (there's three of them) but you won't be able to get the song itself.

I just noticed that the cover art for Wild World and K.K. Safari are the same... could it be that the name has changed?

You can request Wild World and he'll play it but he won't give you the aircheck music for it. It sucks because I really love that song!

When I first started playing WW in 2005, I knew nothing.
I didn't know who K.K. was, and when he asked if I wanted to make a request, I'm like, sure! So I typed in "Smoke on the Water", and because he said he was going to play it, I thought great, the game's added some famous songs.

I was a little pissed when he never gave me a copy of it.
