🌺 It is what it is 🌺
I have been fortunate in New Leaf as to never have lost a villager unexpectedly. I do play every day, and I get the pings and/or find out via the rumor mill. Each time I've wanted to keep a villager that was leaving, I told them "Don't go!" (or whatever the dialogue choice is for asking them not to move), and each time I've asked them to stay, they've always stayed (which I'm thrilled about!), immediately they cancel their moving plans.... Which brings me to my 1st question:
#1) If a villager tells you they are moving, and you ask/tell them not to go, could they/do they ever say no and proceed with the move? In other words, could your asking them to stay be rejected?
My 2nd question is sort of similar, as it has to do with whether or not they could or would reject a request regarding moving. I've successfully adopted several villagers in New Leaf. Each and every time I go to adopt one, said villager brings up not knowing where they are going, I suggest my town, and they always agree. So, now my next question:
#2) If you do in fact have the space in your town for a villager, and the villager you are trying to adopt isn't currently a part of your 16 cycle, and the dialogue comes up for you to ask them to come to your town, is there ever a chance they would say no? Or is it always going to be yes?
Just wondering, mostly to be prepared in case the first happens... Or either, I guess. I have dreamies I never want to lose
