Just restarted my town, and I need some inspiration.

So yeah, I've recreated my town a few days ago. I saw this QR code of a dress, and I instantly got an idea. I'm going to make a town based on the 80s/90s! But there's one problem, I have no inspiration at all. I don't even know what kind of paths I should use. Not even which villagers I should pick! Some help would be greatly appreciated <3

Well, I grew up in the 80s and 90s, so I think your theme sounds really cool! Both decades were known for their bright colors and bold patterns, so I did a quick search and found these path ideas.







Off the top of my head, Fuschia would be a great villager.

I'll do a little more thinking and see if I can come come up with more suggestions later. Good luck with your new town!

This is such a cool idea! I feel like you’ll definitely need the Astro set for your house haha.. and maybe the polka dot set your town will look super cool with th colorful paths that LadyDestani suggested and some of the big, colorful pwps

Very cool idea! The first villager that came to mind for me was Shep. Maybe it's the hair, or the denim jacket, idk.

Thanks for the ideas! I actually went for an almost pastel-ish coloured path, but I like it, and that's what matters in my opinion! Are there any specific PWPs that you would suggest?

The PWPs are much more difficult. I was looking through and didn't really see any that screamed 80s/90s. But both decades liked really sleek, 'futuristic' designs. I'm thinking the modern police station, blue bench, wood bench, or modern bench, round streetlight, modern clock, archway sculpture, cube sculpture, and maybe even some of the illuminated PWPs. Fountains are also a good idea.

Actually, I may do the 80s/90s theme on my secondary town because
1. I found this one path that I fell in love with, but it doesn't really fit the theme
and
2. Most of the pwps you listed are suggested in my secondary town and not in my main town
