Jock Villager Dilemma

So here I am again having the same problem I always have... choosing a Jock villager.

I always aim to have at least 1 of each personality type in my town. If I don’t I feel like I’m missing out on potential interactions and content. But Jocks, urgh.

Maybe they just aren’t for me but I’ve never found a Jock I’ve liked.

Can you recommend a Jock that you love?

Is their a personality type you feel this way about?

I feel the same way about jocks. Never enjoyed them.

Kevin is my jock right now, but I dont like him enough to keep him. I guess the only jock I'm somewhat interested in would be Bam! Hes a cool design so I wouldnt mind the jock dialogue if it was coming from him lol

I know where you are coming from - I feel the same about jock villagers but would like the have that personality on my island for the sake of variety..

At the moment i'm questing Genji, mostly because I really like his design the most out of all the jock villagers available, but I also quite like the look of Dom! I think it will be for the best, once on of them moves in, as I find the conversations with villagers quite lacking atm and a new personality would help a little on my island.

not a huge fan of jocks either. i think kid cat has a pretty unique aesthetic if you like that sort of thing, also a fan of genji and snake!

Dom is a jock that doesn't look like a jock.I wasn't sure what to expect from him since he's new to the game but he's been great so far.Some other oddball jocks I like are Curly and Goose mostly because they're both really goofy and also because most people wouldn't think of a pig or a chicken as being athletic.

At first Jocks are a bit boring because they only speaks about gym but they're nice with other villagers, fun and dynamic.
I have Boots and he's the villager that interacting the most with others for now.

So the most cool looking jocks are I think :
- Bam
- Genji
- Ribbot
- Scoot
- Snake
- Sprocket

I actually love the jock villagers, to me seeing a tiny hamster talk about his 62 pack is hilarious lol

They also have great interactions with my other villagers!!

My favs are rudy and hamlet (both in my town atm)! dom, the new one looks cute too!

I like the jocks, but would only want 1 max because they do get a bit old very fast. I have Antonio right now and like him (he was a starter). Haven't gotten another jock in this game but ones in past games that I have liked are:

Scoot, Jay, Jitters, Samson, Kid Cat, and Genji

My fav jocks are Leonardo & Tybalt! Their physical build makes them look natural lifting weights and when they talk about their physique it doesn't come across as ironic or deluded XD

The broken record of interests for Jocks and Lazy villagers made it very easy for me to decide I don’t need every type of villager represented after all. If you don’t like them or any other type, don’t force out someone you might enjoy more just to get different dialog (esp since that dialog will be centered around their interests anyways)

I really love Poncho mostly because the contrast in his dialogue vs apperance is really funny to me

I like Kid Cat because he just gives off the vibe of having fun and also Genji because he's so serious looking and I like his design.
