Jewelry in animal crossing?

I know that some clothes already have some kind of accessory that goes around the neck. But I was wondering like... What if there was an option or a trader selling various jewelry items, limited to bracelets, earrings, and necklaces for graphics limitations.
Would this be something that people would like? My guess is that the NPC would probably be akin to Sahara, or a Saharah counterpart. What do you guys think? What kind of NPC would this trader be?

I really want a separate neck slot for things like bandannas and scarves. I feel like a neck-worn bandanna would make my rep’s feral-look perfect! I think that kicks could probably fit the bill for scarves and the like whereas I agree with @Sharksheep with the jewelry aspect (though I also think peeps would get real heated about the luck aspect).

I love this idea a lot. She could be a visiting NPC with a little vendor cart and everything. That'd be adorable. I'd love it if we could have gloves (I know the hands are like, nothing more than a sphere but still... just to have some cute colors matching with raincoats/cold weather clothes) and maybe bracelets and necklaces. Dunno how earrings would work but they'd be cute too.

This is a great idea! I think they should bring back gemstones from NL, so we can make jewelry.

I would love jewelry. Earrings, necklaces bracelets. Anklets would be cute too. And a “junk” vendor would be great. Maybe not just jewelry but some antique type stuff as well. Nifflers love shiny things. Too bad Nintendo would have to get permission to use them because a Niffler NPC would be soo cute. I can dream I guess

Oooh I’d love to have jewelry in ac! Especially bracelets! Earrings as well! That’s basically what I wear irl (mostly earrings though) so maybe a pair of gold earrings (heart shaped to match mine would be awesome ) and like a charm bracelet or something

It's a cool idea but, at the same time, I'm having trouble picturing jewelry being a really dynamic addition since jewelry tends to be small and often subtle. I think including it in some clothing pieces makes more sense, though I do like the idea of a jewelry seller.

I DO think a scarf slot would be neat, though!

Yo let my in game character have face piercing and ear rings, that would look insanely cool haha. On a more serious note though, while it may seem like a great idea at a first glance, I feel like jewellery just doesn't fit into new horizons as a game all that well. I'm trying to imagine what jewellery would look like in the game, and I honestly just can't picture anything in my head that doesn't look silly/nonsensical. If you wanna pimp your character out, then give them a crown or a tiara. Or better yet, if you really want some actual jewellery, then wear the pirate treasure robe that was just released, since that thing is covered head to toe with jewellery and gems.
