Jealous of My Second Town

As the title states, I'm jealous of my second town. The campsite set up is just perfect. I am going to surround it with two rows of cedar trees and have a little opening in the front so it's almost secluded. The placement of the villager houses are almost perfect. Nearly each one aligns with another. I placed paths (with may be changed in the future) around the area to see what it would look like, and I swear it looks like a little town. I kind of wish I moved my house within that part of the map. Keep in mind that I started this town on the 5th of May, so it's far from being complete. Images below in case you're curious. Anybody else with a second copy or third if you've ever gone that route jealous of what your other towns had to offer?

Nope. But that's because I don't really feel like maintaining a second town.

The only thing about my second (cycling) town that I'm jealous of is the name. Wish I was that original when I started my main town.

Kind of a bummer you can't rename your town like you can change your flag or town tune. If only it were that simple.

wow your villager placement is really great!! and I don't have a second town because I know for sure I'll love one town more than the other if I get a second copy... and then I'll only play on my favoured copy lol...

luckily I'm pretty pleased with how my town turned out!! I regret a little where I placed some houses, but it's nothing I fret about that much *u*

I understand. So far I've been playing my first copy more than my second one. That'll probably change when I upgrade my second town. I'm really hoping I don't have favorites. Maybe I'm just really excited because this time around I feel like I have more control than my previous town. Still, I think I'll always cherish my first one because of the time and effort I've put into it, along with the rarities I own. I bought a second copy originally for trading and town meeting, but I later realized, which I should have realized sooner, that I don't have a second 3DS. Oops! Dx

lol yeahh Im actually jealous of my second town because, for one, it didn't have two strips of useless land, and second, the freaking waterfall (like where it starts) is facing the screen so I can actually see the water falling from the cliff ITS SO GOSHDARN BEAUTIFUL UGH.

but why not make your second town your main town?

Shep moved in the other day, so when I saw him, I was kind of happy about that. He's not my dreamy, but I like his face. xD And you're right. Why be jealous of yourself? I still haven't figured that out myself. It is my town after all. Oh well.

but why not make your second town your main town?

I feel like my second town has more space. So that's something I really like compared to my first town. I know what you mean about the waterfall, too, because mine also faces the screen. I was thinking that would be a great place for a PWP once Truffles moves out. I could make the second town my main town, but the first one holds more memories from the day I started up to now. But I could do that.

My first town is a mess. That's why I love it - but it's an absolute mess. PWP placement, trees, villagers, everything is in chaos. My second town is still very pristine, I like where my permanent villagers are, it's just nicer. I enjoy both for different reasons. But sometimes I wish I had planned things out for future me.

My second town (Valyria) has way better luck than my first town (Volantis) does. I've found 4 four-leaf clovers (as opposed to none), and the campsite villagers in Valyria are always awesome. In Volantis I'm bombarded by frogs, pigs and sheep. Ack.

My town layout in Valyria is also slightly better, however Volantis is landscaped and thus looks much, much better overall.
