I've restarted and have a question about the 3 villagers houses (Tom Nook quest)

Hi all,

I've been playing since launch but a haze has gone over the early game tasks and I have a question,

When you have built the 3 villager houses and have your first random villager lined up to move in (sold sign on the first completed house) is it then possible to invite a villager from another player's island to fill the other empty plots? I believe you can go to Nook Mile Islands to invite them, so does inviting them from another player's island work too? I assume it works like a normal plot of land? But I haven't tried it yet.

Also does anyone know if the amiibo forced move house glitch was fixed in the latest update(s)?

I think that those houses have to come from Nook Mile Islands, and they are stuck with the tutorial houses.

I recommend just getting randos and moving them away for villagers with good houses.

Also, the Forced Move glitch is fixed. Assuming that nothing broke in the most recent update.

I'm pretty sure you have to get them from mystery islands, since those will be your first lazy, normal, and peppy villagers. And after that you have to get your first smug villager from the campsite, after which you can invite other people's villagers afaik

you dont have to get them from mystery islands!!! random villagers will just move into them - they were all sold in like two hours after me placing them!!
