i'm just cycling like normal and i get a new villager and lopez parks his house in a really odd position to me.

he's 1 space from the train tracks, 1 space from a permanent rock, and this close to a pond x_x wtf lopez pls

Yeah, that is an unfortunate spot. >.<
I've had two villagers (they both went in that spot) move between the Town Hall, train tracks and a pond though. Also poor placement.

The villagers can place their houses really close to things, but for some goofy reason, we can't.

Two of my villager (Fang & Beau) both moved 1 space from the train tracks and 1 space from a river/ pond, and I am extremely satisfied with their plots I personally think your Lopez has great taste in plot placement xD

Yeah, I usually hate it when my villagers somehow make their plots squeeze into these areas and close objects :/ But somehow I was able to plot reset four of my Starpass villagers about one space from the river where I wanted them to be.

My Roald moved right in front of Reese's and one space away from a pond. I always wonder if maybe Roald just wanted easy access to fish since he's a penguin...

Penelope and Fuchsia are both 1 space away from the train tracks and either one or two spaces from the river. It's not like we have any disadvantages compared to villagers though, our house is just bigger.

Beau is one space away from the cliff in my cycle town. Despite that he's in an okay spot though. Hope you get over it soon enough!

I saw it when dream address visiting. Ive been wanting that position ever since but since I have all of my dreamies and wouldnt plot their home there I just gave up!
