Hello everyone. I just sold a villager of mine earlier today. He was in boxes, and he was adopted. I just came on after being offline and now his house says "I've Moved Out." I have not TTed forward, it says this the day he was in boxes. I've heard about a glitch involving this note on a villagers door, however everything I've heard about it involves it being present on a villager who's just moved in's door, not the one who is leaving. Is he glitched or no? Is this note normal? Will he move out normally tomorrow and the person that adopted him have no troubles at all? He was not forced out, he requested to move out naturally.

I believe this is normal, if it's on the same day.
I adopted Audie from my friend and her house immediately said "I've Moved Out" after I left the town.

Yes it's completely normal. My friend adopted Genji and when she left his door said I moved out. The next day his house was gone and there was an open house plot
Phew, thank goodness! I've only heard about the glitch after I sold him and I didn't want to have glitched either of our games. Thank you for the clarification!
