Hello, I've been on an unexpected hiatus from Animal Crossing: New Leaf since I've started my senior year of high school to where I've only been on once every month or so. Now there's a new update that I knew about but never looked into. I started out with knowing it would release amiibos, but now there's new sets and villagers? May somebody explain all that the update has given? I'm a bit behind and don't really understand what has come out.
I've been on hiatus, can anybody tell me what all the update has given?

There's a new campground area which will sell items and have a random special camper each day plus you can invite campers via wisp if you have an amiibo figure (cards only get pictures), two mini games accessed through the in game items 3ds and Wii U, new clothing items, a few new sets yes and items available via Amiibo's figures and cards, list here http://uk.ign.com/wikis/animal-crossing-new-leaf/Welcome_Amiibo_Nintendo_Items.
The campground doesn't use bells and instead meow coupons which you earn in game by completing daily and weekly tasks.
Villagers no longer require a 16 villager cycle to get them back, you can move villagers in from amiibo cards and they won't move onto paths. You can also ask special amiibo characters to move into your town if you have their figure, like Epona and Wolf Link.
