Its nice though, and finding out what certain items can be changed is a lot of fun. I've been refurbishing items and putting them up so villagers can have nicer items in their homes.

I love refurbishing! It adds an extra layer to the game when it comes to putting a home together.. and I'm addicted because I got the Refurbishing Master badge a few weeks ago haha.

I also love customizing furniture for my villagers to make their homes a little nicer!

Its not a bad thing to do that, for one thing you'll get the gold badge.

Its a good addiction to have - I haven't refurbished much - I use the stained glass window as you can put a QR code in there, ie other people's designs if you want to. And Cyrus offers some nice styles as well for it.

I gold ore a lot of stuff, as it (I think/hope) makes it x2 yellow, if the original colour is x2 its colour, (for feng shui).
So the piggy bank always gets done (although its features get blurred, it looks a lot better as is, pink).
The super toilet & bath tub, just cos I like having a gold plated loo/bath!
Edit: Yes as per Jon_Snow, I gold plate the plate armor - never tried the executive toy - will have to have go!

I need to get back in the habit of refurbishing stuff I'm not interested in keeping, that's how I was planning on getting that gold badge. I keep selling that stuff as soon as I'm in the door and I forget that Cyrus is even there half of the time, lol

i used to refurbish some furniture in my house but i don't really decorate my house anymore..
