Let's say, twenty years ago. (Let's just picture you are 30 right now.) Someone at your school bullied you a lot, making your life a living hell.

Now after twenty years, you meet that bully, he seems to have changed, apologizing for the harsh things he did to you.

Would you forgive him? Or still hold on to that anger?

Forgive. **** happens in life. School does involve bullies.
I'm friends with ALOT of the bullies at my old school. Hell one of them beat the **** out of me and I am kinda good friends with him now.

A lot of it would have to do with his tone, cause it would have to be sincere duh.

Probably still wouldn't be his/her friend but I would accept it..... if cookies are involved things look better.... I love cookies.

I was actually thinking about this situation this morning.
I would just move on. I don't have time to think about what this or that could have been done.

I forgive, but I never forget. I would remind them ever so often. So I would hold on to this nugget of information forever! Something to hold against them! MUAHAHAHA-sorry. Evil alter-ego taking over.

I would forgive him, but do something evil considering I would probably be the one who signs his paycheck while he is sitting there being paid minimum wage.

Twenty years is a LONG time to "hold a grudge" for something that happened between children.
It's usually behavior of adults that might be "unforgivable." Adults are expected to "know better."

if they're a bro and mean it, why not.

of course, i haven't had this happen to me before, and you'd obviously have to watch out for backstabbing for a while, but hopefully they've changed.

I probably wouldn't give them the time of day to apologise. Not like I would hold a grudge, I just don't see any reason why I would care about their apology, or take the time to remember what they did and accept whatever they were apologising for.

I would definitely forgive. People change a lot from their kid years and realize things they had done wrong. If after 20 years the person still remembers you and how they treated you and wants forgiveness, then that should tell you how sorry they are.

It would be weird, and slightly awkward. However, being an adult, he would probably be the most embarrassed, not you, about how immature he was as a child.
