Do you have any items that you'd like to see in the game/any future AC games? One of the items I'd like to see is an mp3 player you can wear outside and listen to K.K. songs. It's just like the music players you can display in your house, but you can use it outdoors while you're gardening, laying down paths, etc.! Each player can only get 1 music player once they they buy/catalog all the K.K. songs!

What would you like to see?

That's such a cute idea umm hmm it would be kinda cute if you could have a functional in-game camera tool and take pics with it (selfies included!) and in one of the stores there would be a little photo development kiosk and you could get them printed as items and pay to frame them or blow them up even bigger and then put them around your house. But well hmm then you'd end up with a lot so there would also be a little album you could put pics in. Of course there'd be a reasonable limit on the number of pics you could keep (maybe it could be like the item storage and mail storage is) and uhh you can get the camera and album refurnished by Cyrus and give it cute patterns or use clothing fabric or custom designs to make it look good. Also being allowed to customize tools in general would maybe be cool.

I made this up as I went along but I think it's a pretty cute idea so I'm putting it out into this web domain anyways!

There are a lot of cute ideas to be had about these kinds of additions. Maybe it would be cool if there was a list of pre-approved mods that one could download and add to their game (so the burden of all that data storage would be on the DS and not all on the one game cartridge?) Maybe kind of like The Sims, except the mods are free and fueled by fan input ??

A camera would be so cute! It might also be cool for the villagers to have them, so when you're talking to them, they could say "Hey ____, can you take a picture with me?" and in the mail they would send you a copy for you to do all those things you suggested :)

a game console of sorts for your house. The houses really do need more to be done inside them. It's obvious that they'll never bring back the NES games because now they can just sell those on the Virtual Shop, but they can be original 8-bit styled (since that's all Nintendo seems to remember) mini-games that you play on the TV in your house. Think of the games that appear on the gamepad during Splatoon when you're waiting for a match.

Board games too could be something to have to make you want to spend time in your house. Maybe something just as simple as checkers.

Also, an upgrade to the computer would be neat as well. You could use it to send e-mail to people on your Friend's List if they have the game and it will show up on their in game computer. Maybe even use it to order items from the Nooks during the closed hours and have it delivered a day or two later than the in-store kiosk to add some balance.

The houses just really need an overall to make you want to spend time inside them once you finish decorating.

omg villagers walking up to you like "Take a pic of me against the sky. It'll look good on my Instagram"

I love the idea of villagers having cameras/taking selfies with you! And you could hang the photos on your wall.

And I say this all the time but HAVING A YARD YOU CAN DECORATE. This seems to be coming to HHD so fingers crossed for the next version!

And maybe you can have parties in your house (or a barbecue in the backyard) and invite your villagers/Isabelle! They could all hang out in different rooms and you have to mingle.

I mentioned some of these in previous topics I posted in; here's what I'd like:
  • more cultural/historical objects and themes; same with clothes, though I don't really care about the clothes that much since all I wear is the custom designs that someone made (or my own) based on the game series my town and home interior design is based on. Maybe have flags of most countries (if they do, I'd like to see a Palestine flag).
  • books that can be read/stored, used as decoration or donated to the museum (a library exhibit?)
  • more food and drink items and the items actually being interactable and reusable--at the same time, never spoil if using it for decoration; I'd like there to be an apple pie (why can't we take some of the meals that Franklin makes <.<?), Baklava, Shawarma, etc.
  • some furniture that are in the shape of a wine bottle or beer cup or something (it would've been helpful for my tavern in my museum)
  • unlimited amount of recipes and be able to cook, make your own drinks, etc... [I know this isn't a furniture, but I wanted to add this]

I'll add more later; this is all I can think of right now. :P

I would want to see ceiling items like the ones in Happy Home Designer, and outdoor decors.

If my idea about food and beverages and being able to cook with ingredients was to be implemented, I think it'd be cool to be able to store food and drinks in a refrigerator.

i wish theyd make the kimono look different. it doesnt look much like a real kimono imo.

id like to see more of other asian countries historical/cultural items. if i wanted to make a room about thailand id have a hard time. same with more south american and african items! different fish bowls too. More types of korean hanboks. maybe a couple chinese hanfus. attire from a bigger variety of countries. and id like to get rid of the balloon set, ugh. i wish there were a better egyptian theme/set.

more food and interactive items too!

If they had more house exterior items, I wish there were some Middle Eastern themes (as well as more furniture) and more Latin American themes.

I have a few things I'd love to see in future games:

  • Give villagers items by option.
  • Be able to have a credit card or debit card of some kind!.. So we don't have to run back and forth or carry an inventory full of bells.
  • Have more options at the Able sisters
  • Be able to place things like the Sims! It would be easier to decorate rooms, PwPs, etc.
  • Stacking flowers/saplings/starts like fruits.
  • AUTO-STACKING
  • Be able to plan multiple PwPs a day.
  • Be able to customize the town tune a lot more (adding flats, sharps, time signatures, etc.)
  • Add more accesories, like watches, belts, etc!

anddd... so much more XD

Nice ideas everyone :].

I wish there were more counters, ones that take up only one space; villagers' houses expand as yours does and their items improve maybe? It'd also be nice if the characters could automatically pull the chair out when they want to sit in it like in the Sims 3; so I could have a chair like the Cabana armchair or Gorgeous chair pushed up against a table (they're the closest chairs to the chairs in the game I'm basing my rooms on).

Majora moon as a fortune cookie item, cheese furniture to go with the wall, more nature plant type items like the leaf pile and wheat, a graffiti wallpaper, maybe a dumpster, stuffed animals, trampoline, maybe a cave type wallpaper and crystal furniture. I want ceiling items too like ceiling fans, chandeliers, maybe a tire swing, stelagmites icicles.

What we really need though more than anything is a steampunk series from Gracie. And a crystal series too with crystal furniture and cave type wall.

Also an option to actually be able to design wallpaper and carpets in your house like the wallpaper and carpets in the game. Rooms are very limited with using patterns...

I WANT TO BE ABLE TO COOK! And then you can either eat the food, or display it in your house. Think about it. Wouldn't a cherry pie or a bowl of mac&cheese make such a cute decoration??

:) i'd like it if different combinations of food could make something different and there being different recipes just like in the Sims 3; I'd like to use the food as decoration though to, so maybe reusable, edible, and doesn't spoil? :P
