Off the top of my head, the doghouse is one item. You can then add one of the fortune cookie Nintendogs to be placed near/in front of it.

The sparrow’s nest sold by Harvey at the campsite! There’s baby birds in it, so cute!

The seahorse has a cute little cylindrical tank if I remember correctly. The goldfish also has a nice jar.
The cricket has a wooden cage.
Someone already mentioned the birdcage, but the princess set also has a fancy looking birdcage in the set.

There?s also the sea globe . It?s very cute and looks like a mini fish bowl.
It also has some movement.

The Nabiru ornament from the Monster Hunter Amiibo is a super cute little kitty that ticks his head back and forth. It's much more cartoonish than the other animal items but I still love it!
