I'm adding a little animal clinic in the back room of my pet store because...because. :D
I'm kind of...at a blank of what to include though.
So far, I've incorporated the blue and yellow certificates, corkboard, medicine chest, science table, 2 IV drips, desk lamp, homework set, microscope, zodiac rabbit and dog, dog house, some medicine, a rubber plant, air conditioner, minimalist tables, teacher's desk and chair, filing cabinet, Lolly's picture, small magazine rack, and minimalist clock. The wallpaper is just the pawprint wallpaper and the floor is some sort of tile. I didn't know if I should go with super "clean" and pick the neutral wall/flooring or go with cutesy. (I really need to learn how to take pictures in game to show you. My apologies. Still trying to learn about my 3DS; haven't even owned it a year...)

I'm trying to think of animal clinics, so I'm making some informative posters and "ADOPT TODAY!" flyers. I was thinking about maybe the hospital screen and washbasin, but that's not really vet-related?

!! I remember you saying you were making a vets office.
The easiest way I know how to take pictures is to use the miiverse method. (Though luckily now nintendo has incorporated right-click saving so you don't need to go through the hassle of going into the website's html) And then once you have the image saved to your computer you can upload to a post using the little tree button in the post options bar. c:

Anyway!! I think a large magazine rack could work well, could be interpreted as books on pet care. And maybe a goldfish and a candy jar on the counter/teacher's desk.

I would go with a "cute" kind of room; a clean one just sounds a bit scary for the "animals". ;) You could also add a bird cage, or a hamster cage if you have them on your catalog to make it seem more like a veterinarian's office.
I hope I helped! :)

The secretary at the vet that I take my chihuahua to has a parrot by her desk. It greets customers and tells loud dogs to "Be quiet!". Maybe a birdcage?

I have no suggestions but good luck, this sounds like a neat idea and now I wish it would make sense for me to have this in my town except that it wouldn't really fit.

Also, an easy way to take pictures is just press the R/L buttons (on the back of the 3DS). You press one of them first and then press the other (I don't think the order matters) and it'll take an in-game snap for you. It'll save the pictures to your SD card, so then all you have to do is transfer them to your computer like you would with the pictures on a camera or phone that also took SD cards. Just use the SD card reader on your computer or if there isn't one, you can buy USB readers at most computer-related shops. It then behaves just like a USB drive, so you can look in there and browse through the folders. The pictures are usually saved in one called DCIM if I remember correctly. Once you're done copying or cutting them to your computer, just put the SD card back into the 3DS. :) I hope that helps because pictures would be awesome, I love your descriptions of your towns.
