It started raining after I watered my flowers...

I have the bell boom ordinance in my town so I can get gold roses, so I have to water my flowers to keep them alive. I watered all of my flowers and then right after I finished, the hour changed and it started to rain. It really annoys me that it started raining right after I wasted my time watering flowers. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I don't think rain counts as watering your flowers, so you would have needed to water them anyway. If rain did water your flowers, I feel like they'd be sparkly after.

I have personally tested this, and on rainy days you do not need to water your flowers to keep them from wilting. However, I find watering them still helps to grow hybrids.

It does water flowers. I don't water my flowers when it's raining and they are all fine the next day. I've also had hybrids appear after rainy days even without watering any flowers.

I have the clean town ordinance because I have a decent amount of flowers and there was no way I was gonna go and water 'em all by hand every day. Those villagers need to help out around the town too, since I'm the one paying for all the public works projects that they asked me for and I do all of their chores.

So they can keep the town clean IMO. XD

I totally agree. ...Until they start planting flowers in my town I don't NEED any more flowers, unless they're hybrids!

I'm a scumbag and will usually dig up their freshly planted stuff immediately. XD If they are something I happen to need though I'll just steal those new flowers and put 'em elsewhere.

I admit I've done this before... and sometimes I even keep watering them when it is raining.

I'm happy I've changed to the Perfect Town ordinance since then.
