[Issue Resolved] Villagers not moving out?

So I've been trying to cycle for the last couple hours, but with no luck. After going through about 5 years, I still haven't had anyone move out, not even a single ping

I don't see what the issue is. I'm not living in a tent, I have the town development permit and I have 9 villagers... Still,no one will move out.

Any ideas?

The thing is I have been going a few weeks at a time, but it's just amounted to around 5 years.

I'll try talking to them, but I'm pretty sure they've pulled away from tutorial conversation now. Thank you though

Well one of my villagers, Vic, asked if he could move out. I have only been playing for a few weeks so...

when you say 5 years, do you mean time traveling
villagers won't ping you if your not on speaking terms with them, so if you haven't talked to them in while they won't ping you
can you explain how you've been trying to move them out?

Ive been using the method Ive always used- 3 weeks, 3 weeks,5 days

Ill try a different one and see if it fixes it

Time travelling backwards seems to have sorted it out. Thanks everyone
