i wont split my brain bc of class now but in general I only town'd people that gave me reason to do so, so my nulls are within mafia
 
fwiw I'm just spitballing rn, but I am actually going to go cross-reference what people have said, because this is ~the most likely place~ for someone to have messed up their reads.

Maybe this is me misunderstanding it, but the first reaction to getting like 2 pages full of content shouldn't be "I'm going to go tally up the results." But rather.

How do these peoples reads matter in the scope of their game vs how they reacted to it.

For example - hikari claimed to force themselves to out mafia reads, because they felt that they couldn't out multiple people as town.

How many people here felt obligated to out town/mafia reads due to how few/many they had before? And how many of the reads people outted contest their own.

For example: something that's interesting about the specific statistics is that volt outted 6! seperate scumreads. THIS is more meaningful than how many people didn't scumread me for example.

Also I don't think that outting 6 scumreads probably means they were genuinely outting their first impression of said player (which can happen as town or mafia!)

If I were to look for mafia in this pile, I'd probably start away from both hikari (who admitted to fudging the results a bit) and volt (who probably did read the game.) Especially since this is likely the first time this game has ever showed up in the forums, I think it's fair to say that most people's reaction to this will be really raw.

i mean what ive seen supports my susses on hikari and volt. dino also said he didn't remember most of the players which indicates he's not paying attention very much

my nulls are glow, cake, epona, guava and daniel, hikari being the only one that im slight sus
i was joking about glow because of how much i was tunneling her in kingmaker

guava has more posts than someone like Cake, but there's not much substance there and one of their posts about thinking that the day votes won't help give us clues feels like it could be a way to cast doubt on whatever flavor text shows for hints. guava also was fine with an early Geoni wagon and said later that Dan just wanted to get things started, but also said that the early vote of Dan's could be a bold mafia move. Valid point, but also kind of flip-flopping between the vote being pro-town or potential scum, and then guava hasn't really said anything else about anyone beyond a quick Alek townread.

That's understandable. Just because you want to wait till day 2 doesn't mean you can't contribute now.
 
ok 1. Daniel I think you're asking the wrong question.

Looking back at ace's iso, I also thought that only having 2 scumreads meant anything, but I doubt that anyone here had teamreads in mind (especially since you asked them to toss out their early thoughts.) you don't see me asking volt if he thinks ~6 people~ are teamread.

2. I think dinosaurz is mafia.

So this actually has nothing to do with the reads. Just when I went back to ISO dino's game, none of it felt really direct to the game. It just felt like a lot of their posts were a direct response to the things that happen. Like. considering the amount of posts they have... all of it feels like filler.

I mean even their last post felt bad.

I mean they SAY they're coasting along with gut reads, but I just feel like they're posting... for the sake of posting, not necessarily because they always have something to say.

Which is generally a mafia thing.
 
i will admit that im having a bit of difficulty getting any solid reads on anyone since i haven't played in a very long time, and i dont have prior knowledge of y'alls playstyles. i understand if that makes y'all sus of me and ill try my best to focus harder on the game to see if i can get better/proper reads in the future :c

on guava, i felt she was very open about not wanting to do much until D2. i dont think she would be that open as mafia and would instead try to at least force some minor reads. i think she'll be easier to figure out later, but tonally i think she's been honest
 
the fact that Dinosaurz has continued posting the same way even after it's been mentioned earlier that his posts are pretty fluffy actually makes me town lean him a little bit now

like, if he was mafia, I feel like his posting style might've shifted subtly after that as an attempt to try to avoid suspicion if people were noticing it and he was posting filler on purpose to coast along, if that makes sense
