Island Hopping Tips (AUDIE WAS FOUND)

Sooo I'm gonna start on island hopping for a new villager today, first time doing so, what tools do you bring with you all the time? Also only have a few NMTs so hoping I could get lucky and get a villager I like within those tickets so wish me luck please xD

I wasn't expecting much really but HOLY MOLY I GOT ONE OF MY DREAMIE IN MY 4TH NMT I'm so happy

I'd recommend bringing a couple of shovels with you, a net and fishing pole and of course your ladder and vaulting pole. Shake the non fruit trees for furniture pieces (which will work towards the tree shakedown Nook Miles unlock). I usually farm the rocks and hopefully get some gold out of them too. Also cross your fingers to hopefully help getting a good villager. GL!

I think it depends how many tickets you have. If you have a ton of tickets, I don't recommend taking everything off the island. Otherwise, shovels, vaulting poles, and ladders are good. After that, probably some youtube If you have tons of tickets (like 50+?), I just hopped on and off islands after seeing which villager it was.

Shovels, net and fishing rod! Make sure you get the DIY recipe on the beach and there is always a piece of furniture in one of the trees! Best advice I can give you is to farm the island for everything you can to make it worth the trip if the villager isn’t one you want.

if you plan on harvesting materials, i recommend axes, shovels, nets and fishing rods! if not, i recommend shovels, nets and fishing rods just in case you come across a rare island that correlates with those tools (hybrid island, big fish island, scorpion island, money rock island). good luck!

Thank you so much for the tips and reminders, planning on gathering materials there as well so that my trips won't be wasted even tho I don't get a villager I want, I do do hope I get someone I like though AHAHAHAHA well we'll see again tysm for the tips ~

I found a little penguin called Sprinkles when I went island hopping. He moved into my island and he's lovely. Don't forget medicine when you go shaking the trees. Enjoy!

I don't really care about looting islands for what they have is the staples are only the ladder and vaulting pole.

But if I'm farming tickets on the side at the same time, I bring flower seeds, tree saplings and customization kits with me as well as anything that can be used to change clothes in.

I fish, catch bugs, hit rocks, craft, customize, plant trees and flowers and do everything I can on the island for those NM missions. Then when I head back to my island I do anything I cannot do on the island like changing wardrobe, talking to villagers, buying and selling items

You will only get the flower and tree planting missions while nooks is open so you can drop seeds and saplings after 10

You can pretty consistently farm 1 NMT before going back to the next one

I have a lot actually AHAHAHA but the ones I really really want are Lily, Beau and Audie and I'm so happy because as of typing this I already got Audie she showed up to me in my 4th NMT and I'm so happy ~ Looks like your luck got passed to me AHAHAHA Judy is also one of my dreamie snooty alongside Diana so congratulations on getting her on your 2nd NMT

Wow congrats! I found Beau in my campsite and took him in today was very happy to see him as I needed a lazy villager

Yeah grinding Nook Miles is quite hard, thanks for thr tips, will definitely keep those in mind once I grind for tickets
