64, ended up taking dom, didn't like him and couldn't even find someone to give him to.... he was voided in the end

Oh gosh this is definitely what I don’t want! If I end up taking someone I don’t want I want someone else to want them (kinda thing)

The most was around 100. Ended up with NO ONE. Got two randos as a result. After that, I never went back to another island again. I was SO TRAUMATIZED that I decided to break my No TT rule just to kick them randos and fix what the game dealt me with through the campsite trick. In the process, I scored some dreamies and was able to kick out the randos. Now that I have a pretty decent roster of villagers and back to No TT, NO ONE IS LEAVING (because I don’t even want to think of island hopping again to fill up plots). Instead, I’ll just wait until I find someone in the campsite who I’d like better than any of my existing ones and then invite them to replace my least favorite among my current villagers.

Around 30 in day but not one sitting. It gets so tiring if you're just looking for villagers. The time I did it while needing some specific resources was a lot better because it doesn't feel like you're wasting your time when you don't see anyone that interests you right away.

6. This was when I was starting out and I knew villagers were going to start coming to my town. I wasn't that fussy, just wanted to avoid getting someone hideous so I just grabbed the first 4 villagers I saw that I liked (Poppy, Fauna, Chevre and Nan).

Got to 42 and found Skye I’ve settled as I was getting really irate lol. I’m gonna try the campsite method for other villagers because that was so tiring

I did I think around 240 in a single session (like.... 12 hours of my life) looking for Judy. Wouldn’t recommend it. Saw so many chickens and hippos that it boggled my mind.

48, I had 50 tickets, it wasn't looking good, then I found Judy. Not one I was looking for but I'm glad I didn't blow through all those tickets and not get anyone. I think next time I'll save up double the amount just in case.

most hopping I did was like 7? I was very lucky!
I was looking for a cute snooty and prefered only a few
my top 3 I was looking for were Diana, Whitney and Vivian
and I found Diana, and I found her really fast! I couldn't believe it

that aside, shame on me but I've bought nfc tags, so if I was looking for 1 specific villager well..
I would first try island hopping, but if I didn't find one I like in like less then 15 tries I would just make a card

Well, I spent yesterday just 3 tickets and found Raymond, lol. I wasn't even searching for him.

Otherwise, probably over 100 tickets for other certain villagers.

I think the most I've done at once has been between 30 and 40 (perhaps 40+). I didn't keep count. I had been saving miles for weeks and it was the weekend and I just wanted to do some island hopping.

The most I have done was 8, with Marina being the chosen one.
Before that I would have my chosen villager between 1-3 nook mile trips. I was lucky and got Bunnie and Tangy immediately!

Last month I went island hopping for Judy, and I didn't get her after burning through 256 tickets when Raymond appeared. iirc it took like 2 days to visit that many islands lol

I'm not picky, but it took me 70ish on Tuesday to find a cranky or jock that I liked. Finally found Camofrog and was very happy. Super cute and I love the military theme he's got going on. That was my longest hunt ever, previous ones were around 20-30

70! 42 and I was literally ready to tear my hair out I came across every single lion like WHY PLS?

I used about 60 yesterday and ran out before I found any I liked, the only half decent villager I saw was Dom, but I didn't take him. Then I got someones voided Bob in the plot. I have his Amiibo but never invited him, never liked him. I have 3 Lazies now atm. I'm gonna slow grind the next couple of weeks until another moves out, and wont go Island hopping with less than 100 tickets.
