Island fish selling for more

Hey I just have a question about how today I was playing and I sold around a page worth of finned island fish and I got 72k bells.

Usually when I sell the same amount of finned fish I get around something like 10k.

Is there a reason why the fish sold for so much more than usual?

I was amazed, I have never got that much before. I thought it was weird.

I'm assuming by finned fish it's the sharks/sunfish..but you saying that you normally sold a full page of them for 10k total doesn't sound right.

Every sunfish is 4k and the rest of the sharks are 8k-15k each. So even two or three of them would get you well over 10k.

72k for a page full sounds about right though when you sell it at Re-Tail.

If you are talking about those fish, then the only answer I can think of is if you sold at the Nooklings who buy things for much cheaper whereas Reese from the Re-tail buys your stuff for a good price >u<

If you're talking about the other random fish that are cheaper, then they were probably premium that day at re-tail and sold for more (Check the sign infront of her shop to see what's premium that day)

I'm so confused I swear i've never got this much.
Idk lol i can pay things off so much faster now
