Before I begin, I need to express that this is, in no way, self advertisement, I just need to ask if I should keep using YouTube for my gameplay videos because of all these new rules and regulations are worrying me. I set my channel as not for kids because I still want to keep getting comments, and little kids aren't my target demographic, but I don't want to get into any kind of trouble from the people at YouTube. Is there anything I should still be worried about?

Just read the rules on YouTube, why would we know lol. if you break the rules all they'll do is just delete or flag the video its not a big deal

Don't say mean words

its always been safe unless you engage in drama that will lead to doxing from haters. Just dont reveal too much personal info out in the net. In terms of rules, just make sure to label stuff kid friendly or not.

the thing is i dont think you choose what is kids content. ive noticed a lot of old videos i used to like (bc ive been into childrens anime like pripara) was autoflagged as kids content after the update. so youre still at risk for being labeled kids content bc it sometimes isnt up to the creator

don't play anything that could be conceivably marketed to children, depicts children, mentions children, or says children while monetizing it and you should have no hassle with the robots c:

though you could still be flagged at any time because no human knows what counts as child friendly and what doesn't and the system will supersede your selection.

in reality just do what you want, it's not as if anyone who isn't already a youtube celebrity is going to become one at this point and if you aren't bringing money to youtube you're invisible, more or less. courts aren't going to want to deal with cyberclaims for the little people besides

if it's a hobby, don't worry; if this is what you do for money, move elsewhere

I believe it's still perfectly fine to use YouTube. Is it a little more irritating, having to deal with the new red tape? Of course, but most sites are updating these kinds of policies recently.

Just be smart about your content. If you begin to get wary of YouTube, streaming is also a great option for reaching your audience.
