I have promoted more than that idea.

My second post was "That is a possibility. If I were to do that I would probably make a board for a popular game just released. When a more popular one with a higher demand comes out I would change the name and the posts toward that game."

Yes, that is what this is, except not just videogames and because this will be changed more often(2 weeks generally) the title/description is fixed and instead an update to the welcome thread/post will be made.
