Is this house placement possible? (In front of the river)

That should be possible, since I have my current house right in front of the river. (Pinky's house is also right in front of the river.)

As long as a pattern tile fits behind, I think a villager can plot there, yes.

It'll definitely work, as I have a lot of villagers placed close to the river in my second town just like that.

I had three villagers in a horizontal row plotted directly at the rivers edge, so yes, absolutely possible

haha thats exactly how I plan my town with those yellow tiles. I have them all over town where I want my pwps and villagers
