Did you drop it again because if it randomly corrupts you need a new cartridge.

My original Mercury corrupted Randomly, and I had that town for MONTHS, and so far Neo Mercury has yet to corrupt (Hope it doesn't)

It just happened randomly. Maybe something happened during the save. I know it didn't pop out, but maybe it was just a error that happened during the save.

Tip: No matter what happens, Don't turn the power off while its saving! You might have fiddled around with the game files and that can affect it too.

Those are the only ways that you can corrupt your Game, unless you are doing it on purpose (Which I don't think you are) or the Game card has been damaged, had any recent falls lately?

Maybe it was because I turned it off WHILE the "Save Complete" message came up. But I have turned it off at this point before, but it didn't corrupt during this before. Guess I need to make sure that the message fully comes up before doing that.

I always wait to turn it off when the ACNL logo comes back up on the screen & the leaf is fully there. Maybe you should try doing that from here on out.

What is the stores return like? You might only have a week or so to return it. After that they'll tell you it's Nintendo problem
