Is this a glitch?

So I was talking to Timbra and she said she was regifting something Deirdre gave me. She started referring to her as "he" and I was like, "wait??? Deirdre is a dude???" but when I looked it up, I found that she is indeed a girl. Nothing really big, and gender stuff doesn't really matter to me, just thought it was kinda silly.

Yeah, I've seen that happen before too, specifically in reference to uchi villagers. It must just be some kind of problem with the translation or something. It pops up occasionally but doesn't affect anything in the game.
