Is there anyway to switch villagers house exterior these days?

Long story short I haven't played in a year and about a year ago I was trying to switch house exteriors for one of my dreamies to come true but I accidentally updated and lost my Chance at that time. I'm wondering if any new opportunities have arisen to do this though at this time.. ?

The exterior time travel glitch has been fixed, but with the new HHP dlc you can change your villager's house interior and exterior completely.
This unlocks after a certain amount of play in HHP.
