Is there any guide about clothes category? (ex: cute, cool, elegant etc)

I am trying to make good presents to my villagers but I can't really tell which clothes go in which category. Is there a guide for item clothing that tell you? thank you!

hello, not exactly a spreadsheet guide or anything, but nookplaza (under "tools" tab) can generate outfits and villager gifts.

I recommend you to download an app called ACNH Guide (Android and iOS; free)

It's a very complete companion for NH, and although it's a work in progress, they recent added a ton of features in the latest update, including a list of all items in the game with descriptions like how and where it's available, all it's variations, of it's customizable or not and the themes it fits in.
