Is there a way?

I have two questions

1. Is there a way to make villagers ping to change phrases faster?

2. Is there a way to make only one specific villager wear a custom design? (I'm pretty sure the answer is no, but I want to make sure.)

1. You can try the PWP glitch where you stay in the water for 5 minutes with your inventory full of 100 bell coins, and then a villager will ping you.
2. I don't think this is possible. I think that it's just random.

Not really, just keep playing so they keep pinging i guess? always walk in front of them

1. load up a saved player and check every villager till one pings. It's also a good idea to empty your pocket or fill it with something they can't buy. If it's not the right ping, just save and quit and reload the game and repeat.

2. Sadly no, this happens when a day goes by in-game and its random.
