is there a way to tell playtime / number of days played?

i'm trying to grow my tree via time traveling so i can sell my town but i am kind of guessing that i have 50 hrs and i think i've gone about 40 days but i'm not totally sure.

edit: i don't mean on the game itself bc my total playtime for acnl is like upwards of 250 hrs i think

The only way I can think of is looking on the activity log on your DS. However it won't tell you days played, just hours.

aw man, well thank you!! i just checked my activity log and it says 51.4 hrs and i've def played 50 days... maybe it doesnt count time your ds is in sleep mode on the acnl main menu...

do you know if i close my ds overnight it will clock the hours if i'm in game? or do i have to leave it open?

Yep - I'm pretty sure you have to leave it open for it to clock the hours!
