Is there a way to stop my turnips from rotting?

I bought about 250k worth of turnips (i know most people probably buy more, but I've recently started my new town so that's a lot at the moment), and was planning on selling them this week but my internet has been cut off (which is totally my own fault for not paying the bill on time, heh).. Is it possible to stop them from rotting? Otherwise I'll probably have to either sell them for about half the buying price in my town, or desperately stand outside Starbucks with my ds leeching their WiFi.. Hahaha. Thanks in advance for any help!

I don't think you can... since TT backwards will make them rot... so I'm not sure if moving the DS clock backwards would help you any. =<

Sadly, right now I am waiting for someone to pick up a villager in my cycle town, so I can't TT to find at least a decent Turnipspike to help you out. ^^'

chaoskitten brings up an interesting point, maybe if you stay on the same day and just continuously TT the actual time backwards and not the date and see if that works? Besides that there's not much else you can really do

TTing backwards will ALWAYS spoil your turnips. This prevents people from TTing backwards in order to check afternoon turnip prices if they miss it (I'm assuming). It doesn't matter if you go back a minute or an hour or a day, they will rot.
