Is there a way to make the campsite look more ...campy?

I (stupidly) put my campsite in the very south-west corner of my map, near the cliffs. Right now it's just sitting there, next to a few fruit trees, but I'd really like to make it look better. Cedar trees are out, obviously. I've thought about making a new player and leaving them in a tent next door, which is an idea I stole from someone else on the forum, but is that all I can do?

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Lots of trees of course, and maybe some PWP's that would benefit a camper if things were a little more realistic. Maybe the water pump, the campers cot or whatever, which is a chair I believe. Or maybe a picnic blanket pwp. Tons of trees imo, some flowers maybe. I would make it look super nature-y.

You could put the picnic blanket nearby with the camping cot, some log benches, lots of normal trees rather than fruit trees maybe? That pwp with the poster thing, you could maybe have a little picture of a tent on there to indicate it's the entrance to the campground, then line a mossy path (or similar) with trees on each side leading to it?

Add some pwps like the bonfire, log bench, cot or the white lawn chairs (I forget the name). I'm creating stumps around my bonfire pwp to serve as seats for roasting marshmallows. xD
They also help create mushrooms for a foresty feel. You can place them wherever you like later on. Leave any clovers that grow around the area too, unless you have lucky ones tat you can plant yourself. I also try to have trees & bushes surrounding my campsite so it feels a little secluded. Hope this helps!

Mine is in the upper left corner of my map behind Willow's house (which is right behind Retail). I made it look a little more campy by not making my clover path lead over to it (I feel like it should be somewhat out of the way, since it's a campsite), and I surrounded it with flowers, and put two bamboo shoots behind it.

For yours, you might surround it with trees and flowers as best you can, and try to make it look a little more secluded. You could also build a fire pit pwp in front of it (if there's room) and make some tree stump chairs so people can sit around it.

I suggest the camping cot and water pump as PWPs to put around your campsite. It's realistic: you're at a campsite, go to the nearby water pump to get some water and relax in your camping chair, enjoying the nice weather. Plant some fruit trees nearby and use colourful flowers. Avoid using PWPs like the fire pit; your campsite is in the south and it's warm; no need for a campfire in the evening. You shouldn't try to make it like a northern camping spot when it's obviously not; use the benefits of your camp site's place and make them pop.

I don't even know what smores are, so apparently not that much of a vital part. ;D I do think marshmallows are, though - you can roast those on the remainder of your barbecue's heat. (by the way, at most camsites, campfires aren't even allowed)

I spruced up my campground with some Sweet Olive bushes, a log bench, some tree stumps, and a couple of orange and black flowers. --Why orange and black you ask? Because it matches the color of the tent!

Sounds nice, I searched it up and apparently it's a thing in the US and Canada. Here in Europe, we simply eat marshmallows on a stick.

I have a fire pit near my camp, a sign that says "campsite" on it, a hammock, and a log bench and some stumpst for seating. ^0^ It's also bordered by trees, making it it's own little spot.

Ooh, these ideas are so cute! Thanks so much everyone, I'm going to get started right away. I've got some tree-cutting to do!

Also: I've never even been to a campfire haha, I always go camping in summer when there's bushfire danger :/ No s'mores for me!

I also placed my campsite more south, which I regret. The cedars look so nice.
Since the tent is orange (unless it's winter) I surrounded it with stumps, a well, and a variety of orange flowers. Not sure how winter will look with the igloo, but that's alright. Maybe I'll throw in some white flowers. I also put in the well PWP.
