Is there a way to get it back?

Yesterday Savannah suggested the police station! I found a great spot. Not long after, I had to go. So I closed my 3ds (it was still on) so I could play later. Today, my batteries ran out. I started.ACNL and saw that the police station was gone! Cause I forgot to save, I just closed it while ac was still playing. My question is: is there any way to get it back? Or could that take months? (I dont have reset center) thanks!

But did you leave your 3ds on overnight? I always save if I get something good in the game
