Go to the bottom of the page and click "Clear Folder".

You automatically save a copy of every pm you send out, so your Sent box will start to fill up after a while.

There is a box you can uncheck

Also, will add that if you want to keep some but delete others, check the ones you want to delete and select delete message. That's what I do.
