Is there a way to bypass the Custom Sign problem?

I know that you can't use designs on the Custom Design Sign PWP unless you made them yourself, but is there a way around that?

I really want to use this image for the sign near my tent/camping area in my town:

I found a way to turn the image into a QR code, but I can't edit it and can't put it on the Custom Sign. I tried making one myself, but it's lopsided and uneven and not centered. :c

Is there a way to get around this problem, or am I stuck?

If you have an Android phone you can hack other peoples' patters to make them yours to make them displayable. It's only an app for Android tho, and it's called "Animal Xing Designer".

Honestly Nintendo bombed so hard on that front it isn't even funny. "YAY PATTERNS but you can't use anyone else's even if we gave you ****ty designs and added dialogue for someone from anytown"

It works. I used it to display HP uniforms in Ables for my villagers to wear.

Yay! <3 Yeah, I agree the whole "can only use your own patterns" for the signs is redonk. Even as a decent pixel artist, I think I wanna use that hack for later, it'll come in handy if I ever wanna get some of those photo-realistic Doge portraits I've seen floating around on AC art tumblrs. XD
