Is there a difference between consoles based on who you order from?

I see everyone specifically mentioning that their in game N3DSXL is from Isabelle, or Timmy and Tommy, etc.

Is there any actual difference? Or what? I bought my WiiU and DS from Blathers, and they don't seem special.

Some of them have different cover designs, but other than that, there's no difference. Also, you can customize your 3ds so who you get it from really doesn't matter.

Ah, so there are no exclusive cover designs for each character? Mine are just plain white :v
