I swung by my favourite steetpassing spots, but only picked up the people I usually streetpass on a regular day. On streetpassing weekends, these same spots are normally great for making lots of new streetpasses. However, it seemed like the event was not happening after all for me. Anyone else tried it today?

Well, this is disappointing. I tried a few more spots today and only picked up the usual miis and no showcase homes at all. I have a friend who live two hours away and had the same experience today. I guess the national streetpassing is not up and running after all. I never streetpass unless I make a special effort to go to these spots. I really appreciate national and international streetpassing days. Flower Town would have been useless without it. I would be nowhere near bronze let along the silver badge from Phineas without this and my showcase would be pretty much empty. Dagnabbit! (as Croque would say)
