Is one villager awake at all times?

I was playing before 6am for the first time, and I saw Zucker roaming around. He normally doesn't wake up until 8am. Does the game randomly choose a villager to be awake at times when no one is supposed to be awake?

I think the earliest I was awake was 5:45 am and nobody was outside. I can’t remember if anyone was awake in their home but I don’t believe they were.

Do you know if it’s possible for all villagers to be outside at the same time?

I haven't come across a time where everyone was outside, but this makes me wonder even further how Zucker was awake. Sometimes they wake up 15-30 minutes early, but definitely not over an hour or two in Zucker's case.

Even more interesting is that I had Zucker on my island at the time.

Idk what's up with that exactly but I remember Phoebe telling me that she had a nightmare and woke up early. Normally she wakes up at like 10am but that day she was outside at 7am.

Maybe it's just a random chance thing to make the villagers seem more alive and not bound to a pattern?

I was up at 4 am on the game once (no sleep that night~), and I don't think anyone was outside. I kinda remember Diana maybe being outside, then going in to sleep after a few minutes, but that might've been a different day.

It’s rare to find no one outside, but a few times I’ve played at like 5am no one was outside I believe.

i'm pretty sure the game lets atleast one or two villagers roam around whenever you're playing

I feel like the least I've seen is somebody dozing with the lights on, and nobody outside.
But I've never seen *no* villagers available to interact with. You can wake up snoozers.

Julian and Raymond never sleep on my island apparently because I always see them walking around no matter how late I stay up.

Villagers have a sleep schedule but they can deviate from it. Diana isn't up until 8am but she was out at 7 once. I talked to her and she commented that she was up early.

It seems like the sleep schedules are more flexible in this game than past ones. There is a basic schedule each personality type follows, but it seems like at random one or two of your villagers will break their usual pattern on any given day. I’m a bit of a nocturnal person so a lot of my time spent playing the game is late at night, and most nights there are animals who stay up almost the entire time I do. It’s not always the same ones either, it seems to be random. Have occasionally seen them stay up all the way until 5 AM, and then when the new day rolls over they’re generally in their home asleep. Usually I take the game rolling over to a new day as a sign to finally go to bed though so I’m not sure if it’s common to have someone wake up early the same way it seems like someone usually stays up all night.

Yesterday I played until 4am, and Julian and Butch went to sleep. After they went to bed, no one else was outside.

I usually play when they are awake, but i played around 5am one time and i think i might have been the only one around. Maybe someone was at the museum or i didnt look around enough.

Most of the time I see someone awake in the middle of the night but they go to sleep at like 3-4am and also someone awake super early but no earlier than like 6-7am, so it seems at least one villager is awake except for around 3-4am to 6-7am.

I usually play starting around 5am or so and I don't usually see villagers up until closer to 6.
