Is Octavian an Alien?

So i was thunking in this since i get him as a Dreamie. Think about it...
-Marina: Based in a well... Normal pink octopus.
-Zucker: Based in a Japanease food which name i don't remember.
-Inkwell: Based in a Splatoon Squid.
-Octavian: His house have a Space looking and it seems he's been hurt cause of the thing in his head.

What you think? Is he based in an Alien?

zucker is based off of takoyaki lol

i beleive octavian is based off of the red octorock from legend of zelda.
but if his house is a space theme, that refrences to his background, he could be a martian.

octorock = octavian
martian = octavian

This is really...... dark but the cooked octopus I see in Japan are often red :\. Maybe I'm reading too much into it because the octopus you can catch from the ocean is also red so who knows? Maybe he just really likes space?

I looked up "Red Octopus" for the hell of it and this is what I got:

Red Octopus is a 1975 album by Jefferson Starship. It was the best-selling album by any incarnation of Jefferson Airplane and its spin-off groups, and the single "Miracles" hit #3 on the Billboard chart, being the highest-charting single any permutation of the band (including Jefferson Airplane) had until that point. This album was mixed and released in both stereo and quadraphonic. The album itself reached #1 on the Billboard 200.

Perhaps it's a reference to this album and the guy's last name.

I've never thought of it like that before or thought much about his inspiration, but I think you could be right. It seems kinda plausible given his house and his colour. I can see where you'd get that idea from actually. Now that I think about it, his design is could be kinda inspired by Kang and Kodos from the simpsons. (except he has two eyes and they have one and he's red) It would explain a lot. Like why he has a space themed house.

Heh,I'm old so I remember that record and the band.They were originally called Jefferson Airplane but changed to Jefferson Starship when they reformed in the mid-70's.The name Jefferson Airplane was taken from a makeshift roach clip that was made with a split paper matchstick.Anyways,I have photographic evidence that Octavian is in fact,an alien from another world:


One of his alien powers is the ability to insert his snout into solid objects.I think it's so he can analyze the chemical makeup of various Earth items that his race of interplanetary explorers deems of importance...like a bug net.

I think that he is an alien! In Animal Crossing New Horizons he does not wave back when you wave at him! After testing the bewildered emote, happy emote with flowers, distress emote, and aggravation emote, the only thing he did in response was look back at me, arch his pupils to express joy, and frown by overshadowing his eyes. TAKE THIS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT he is the only cranky villager on my island, so this instance might be the resolution. If this is not because of that, one of the game developers intentionally removed some of his remotes to express how he is an alien. On the other hand, his amiibo card tries to oppose this idea by saying how he BELIEVES in aliens.... That was my little rant. ( By the way, I was going to add images of his response to my emotes in Animal Crossing New Horizons, but the files were too large since I added text)
