I think some people are afraid that hardcore gamers will be forgotten. I say that the VC is the best gift that hardcore gamers could ask for, so a little mainstreaming should be embraced. That way, more third party games will come out on the thing.OddCrazyMe said:what changes do you think are bad?
I see nothing bad, Nintendo is making casual gamers' hop in. Nintendo was the one who left the flock of sheep known as humans and did something brilliant. The thought diffrent than all other companies, thus their continued success.
Want to explain?Propaganda Man said:I don't like where Nintendo is at right now. I'm really becoming more of a Xbox guy than Nintendo.
same here, i used to love nintendo, now its just seems like the games are focusing more on the motion of the wiimote and graffics, i mean its all about the gameplay, screw the graffics, screw the wiimote, if u dont have good gameplay, its not a game to me. companies have been focusing way to much on the graffics rather than the gameplay, and i just find that annoying and i find ppl who think that its all about the graffics are stupid and annoying, and now nintendo is trying to focus too much on the motion sensore AND the graffics, a good example of this is "Wii Play" thats not a game, they focussed way to much on the sensor. I dont think anything will beable to replace the regular controller, or atleast not for awile. the wii mote would have been better if they made a game like a sword game that wen u swing the wii mote, the sword swings the exact same way, not in repeating patterns.Propaganda Man said:I don't like where Nintendo is at right now. My Word Coach isn't Nintendo, that's 3rd party.Tom the Warrior said:Yeah, they're coming out with too many learning games. I.E. Brain Age and the coming soon My Word Coach.
Man, I try telling that to people all the time. Too bad so many of them will settle for crappy games if the graphics look pretty enough.UltraByte said:As my friend says, she switched her Wii in her room with her PS2 that was in her living room. She says she doesn't hate Nintendo (she grew up with the company, Yoshi Story was one of her favorite childhood games), think's they weren't doing a good job with the Wii, 'it's only a novelty'.
Though, I beg to differ... Sure, some of the games (Wii Play) weren't as good as they could have been, and Nintendo was trying too hard to sell the Wii (imo, of course), epsecially when all they had out were Wii games that were 'gameplay only, no story', save Twilight Princess (which I didn't like) and a few others.
However, with newer games like Corruption and Dewy's Adventure, it's really bringing the potential of the Wii out. My friend (same one from above) said the Wii's power is nowhere as good as the 360 (which is true). However, games doesn't really matter about the console's power, but how well done the game is.
Wow. I kinda liked typing this long post... Maybe I should start making these posts.
