Is my 3DS XL Broken? :'(

I just opened up my Animal Crossing 3DS XL and it won't turn on. And when I hold down the power button the red-light doesn't even flash to signify that it's out of battery, and it's not responding to the charger. I've tried putting different levels of pressure at different angles on the charger, and then watched a youtube video that suggested I just leverage the pins in the charging port very gently and slightly, but I got nothing. I'm really worried this means that the 3DS it's self is the problem.

Does anyone have any experience with their 3DS dying? Is this what it looks like? Stores are closed and I'm really anxious to know

Apparently the charger just wasn't working. Very strange because when I've had a charger stop working before it's much more obvious that it's the charger, and I can wiggle it around a bit to get a charge. But this one just stopped out of the blue. One day it was working like normal, next day it was just dead. That made me really worried that it was actually the 3DS itself. I went to the closest game shop and asked them to plug it into a charger and it worked. You should have seen the look of relief on my face when the guy came out from the back and said it was fine. Phew. I bought a new charger on the spot :3
