Is Jurassic Park scary?

I don't find them scary, I can see parts of it being scary for easily spooped people. It's kind of like "kiddies first horror".

It's sort of like a slasher movie...But with dinosaurs.

Depends on the kid.

I saw them when I was little and it didn't freak me out much. It has some jump scares but nothing really stuck with me.My best friend saw them when he was little and had nightmares about dinosaurs for a long time.

Totally depends on the kid.

I don't find them scary, but I can understand if it's a kid we are talking about. I don't remember well, but I don't think there are any gory scenes in the movies? At least not many.

I only really care for any but the first one in the franchise, and it's nothing like horror, but very intense. The tension with the raptors opening the door, and when they're climbing over the electric fence both scared me as a child, and still get my heart going as an adult.

no
like, it would be fine to be afraid of it if you were 5? i don't ever remember being scared of it.
It isn't even remotely scary tbh, and in the older movies the dinosaurs were actually kind of funny-looking.

Nah , i wouldn't even say its a thriller. I used to love it when i was a little kid. Still do.
But some kids were scared of the dinosaurs, i guess.

I think for a movie to be a horror movie it has to be somewhat realistic. The thought of getting eaten by a dinosaur is scary, but I know that dinosaurs are extinct and no one is even close to being able to revive one if it's even possible. If it is a movie about humans trying to kill people in some horrific way, then I'd consider it a horror movie if it seemed somewhat plausible that it could happen to me, but things like zombies and dinosaurs are so far out there that I'm not really scared so much as just grossed out.

I've watched all the movies with the exception of Jurassic World, and honestly, none of them scared me at all.

I've loved the Jurassic Park movies forever, like sure I've had nightmares involving dinosaurs and stuff, but the nightmares are 100X scarier then the movies themselves. Nothing about them are scary in my opinion, even the deaths are more comical. But everyone has their fears and dinosaur might just be hers and she's entitled to thinking of the movies as scary. I am horrified of Signs and just about every other alien movie, even if they aren't in reality that scary...

I could see how it could be scary for younger kids.

But it never bothered me when I was little.

wish it was scary! lol but yeah I loved all 3 movies for sure when I was little c:

It gave me nightmares when I was really young. I haven't watched them since, and I don't plan on ever doing so. I do find them to be quite disturbing.
