Is Judy worth the hype?

Hi everyone!

I was island hunting and yesterday I came across Judy. Although her mouth kind of creeps me out (I'm not really a Judy fan) I decided to take her in, A) because worst-case scenario, I'd just sell her for some nook mile tickets and B) I share my island with my brother, and he really likes her.

We're currently debating on what to do with her. Our snooty of choice had been Diana, since we have her amiibo card and love her very much. The original plan was to find her "naturally" because island hopping is tiring but more fun, but now that we've found Judy we don't know what to do.

My brother doesn't really care (he likes her, but he can live without her quote on quote) so it's really up to me. I told him we'd keep her for a while to see if I like her better or not. To be honest, I really don't know. Her eyes are cute, but her mouth is so weird and I do love Diana. I just know it'll be super hard to get her back if replace her with Diana, so I don't want to make the wrong decision.

What do you guys think? Should I keep her? If any of you have Judy, how is she?

I actually found Judy a couple times. Traded her away the first few and then missed her so I actually went and got her again If you have Diana’s amiibo then you can always amiibo Judy our if you feel like you haven’t bonded with her. Btw Diana is one of my favourite snootys as well, she really got a glow-up in the outfit department this game!

I'd say yes, I got Judy on a mystery island and intended on giving her away but totally fell in love with her and now I'm a huge Judy fan. I'm also not one to follow popular trends but she is def the exception ❤

I love Diana, she's so pure and aesthetic and is probably my favorite snooty! But to be fair, I love all the deer haha

Agreed! Diana's dress is so pretty! When I found out it at my Ables I screamed and got all the color

I think I'll keep her for awhile, see if she grows on me or not!

I love Judy! Her eyes and mouth remind me of anime expressions hehe. Although if you both like Diana and unsure about Judy, I think you should just get Diana. Like don't keep Judy because she's popular or hard to get! Don't force yourself to like her either! Get the villagers that will make you happy.

I have Diana, her house is gorgeous and her design is really pretty. I don't like Judy as much, with her wooden block furniture house

I had Judy in my town (gave her away yesterday) and I think she has a cute aesthetic but it's not my aesthetic at all. I think if you like the pink/cutesy/fairytale look then she's perfect but I much prefer Diana and her more natural pretty look!

Is Judy worth it absolutely, she’s adorable, I prefer her to Diana in every way. If you don’t like her though don’t bother coming up with reasons to keep her, just let her go and get the villager you actually want.

I think Diana and Judy are both adorable! If you're not connecting with Judy though, or if you don't like her design, then I'd say to just get Diana. I have Diana on my island, and she's super sweet! Don't feel like you have to keep Judy just because she's popular or hard to obtain!

I'd say yes Judy is much harder to obtain since she has no Abiimo card yet. People actually have to find her on mystery land tours or at the campsite. Besides that she is a very lovely and cute cub.

Diana is like a cute introverted snooty for me compared to my other snooties. I feel like Judy looks like she doesn't belong in the game, lol. Meaning, her design is just kind of... not fitting. I feel the same way about Megan, the other new villager.

Island hopping is an awful 2/10 experience though. At least you have her amiibo so if you just suddenly are not feeling Judy anymore, she can easily & quickly be replaced.

I think you should keep Diana! It sounds like you like her a lot more, which is way more important than rarity.

Here is my experience with Judy.

First of all, I do love her design. I think she is super adorable and so is her house. However, one thing really bugs me about her. I don't feel like her personality matches her ultra cutesy cub appearance. In my mind Diana makes a much better Snooty for this reason. I currently have Judy on my Island, she was one my dreamies. I don't click with her so I will be letting her go and going with Diana myself. Hope this helps a bit!

if you’re not really feeling her, i would stick with diana - judy may be harder to obtain but if that’s your only reason for wanting to keep her, you’d probably be better off with a villager you like more ;u;
