Is it true that the most recent moved-in villager doesn't think of moving?

There were two times I moved a villager in with an amiibo card and they were thinking of moving the very next day they got out of boxes. I wish I was joking lol

So I definitely don't think that's true. Maybe it's different if they move in naturally but I'm not sure.

I've seen mixed conversations on this too. I think Ninji said something about it if you're willing to dig up his Twitter conversation about his move-out findings

Its not true I think. Afaik it just has a really low chance so you're probably better off with moving out another one to increase your chances or use the campsite method.

It's *supposed to be* true.
Doesn't mean it necessarily is.

The real answer is that the code is spaghetti (bugged) and your 10th move in isn't SUPPOSED TO ask to move out, but that doesn't necessarily mean they can't.

I don't think that's quite true.

Here's my experience with it: I don't time travel. I had an open (10th) slot for 1 day and Lionel (from the void) moved in unexpectedly the day after. 2 weeks later, Lionel was the first to think about moving. I let them go back into the void from whence they came.

They are not supposed to (this is what Nintendo intended for it to be like). However it has happened for some people and that's probably a glitch or something like that.

This is actually really good info, because a lot of people tend to bring up the whole "Kick out" via amiibo... well... I don't have any and don't want to be stuck with the last villager that moved in.

I had a very hard time trying to move out my recent villager, Gala, from my island. I tried the 15 day method and another method a friend told me which was to tt 2 months back and tt 1 month forward in order to see a villager have three dots. There has been no success to kick out Gala and I eventually kicked out another villager from my island. I feel like it is true since I haven’t seen a recent villager have three dots. I have tried 2 days to kick out my villager and she never asked to move in once.

I time travelled a lot to try to remove my 10th villager. All my villagers except that one repeatedly asked to leave. I think the chances are very very low so it’s not worth putting too much effort into trying to get them to move out

Not true. I had Bunnie ask to leave a few days after she moved in. Maybe it's a higher chance it won't be the most recent villager who asks to leave but that doesn't eliminate the chance that it will.
