Is it safe to reset in order to move house plot?

I don't know if she loves coffee but Tangy wants to dump her new house right in front of my cafe! The plot has appeared there.

Is it safe to reset by turning off the power to move it around or is their some truth to the rumour it can corrupt your file? I just can't understand why it would be any different to doing a power off reset at another time!

Please advise.

I'm pretty sure it's completely fine, as long as you're not turning off the power while a save is being done.

And also, did you start up the game as your mayor when you saw Tangy's plot? If so the reset trick won't work because Isabelle saves the game when you load up as an existing villager/your mayor, but not when you start as a new character.

Oh damn, didn't know that! I went in with my mayor. So even if I power off and go in with a 2nd character it'll be in same spot?

Yup , Your town is now " locked" in place , You cannot reset for her house
