so im thinking of replaying my pokemon moon again but the alola pokemons are so boring. is it possible to get pokemons from other regions through a trade early in the game?

By finding people to trade with you can in Festival Plaza.

Also you can keep wonder trading to get the ones you want

There's also Pok?mon Bank. If you own Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, or Silver you can use Pok?Transfer to transfer your Pok?mon from those games to Pok?Bank and then to Sun/Moon. Not only will you have those Pok?mon they'll also have their hidden ability when transferred over as well (if they have one of course). If you don't have any of those, then XY and ORAS still work with Pok?Bank I'm pretty sure, so you can transfer Pok?mon from those games to your Sun/Moon game.

Other than that and what the above user suggested, I think that's it.
