Hello!
I recently started playing ACNL again and have been striving to make a "perfect" town in as little time as possible. Part of this involves getting all the dreamies on my list as soon as I can. I wanted to know, is it possible to move in more than one villager at a time? I haven't achieved the maximum ten villagers yet and the most recent one would be my ninth. Thank you in advance!

As far as I know, the game can move in only one villager at a time even when using an Amiibo card. You can have two villagers moving out on the same day with Amiibo cards but not in.You have to wait until your current move-in villager makes a plot in your town before you can ask another villager to move in.If you ask two villagers to move in on the same day the first villager will get cancelled out in favor of the second.

This would actually help my case, then. Thanks for the reply!
