Is it possible to move around wall deco while you’re in designer mode?

By designer mode I mean the mode where you disappear into the void ( thin air ). I don’t know what this is called.
It lets me move around furniture but not wall deco.

I want to get one of my decoration mid level but it goes all the way up to the roof.

Press the + button to swap to the walls

Yes. Once you enter the void, you have to hit another button, I believe +, to shift focus to the walls.

Press the "+" button and it'll switch to the walls.

Also, you can use the right thumbstick while simultaneously holding the A button while selecting a wall item to move the item to a different wall – took me way too long to figure that out!

Oh this is great! I was just Trying to do this and having problems there also. I thought it was just not possible.
