I'm getting a bit bored of Animal Crossing lately and I only check my game in the fear of seeing one of my Dreamies move out of my town.

So, is there any way to 'freeze' my town(s)?
Let's say that in my game, the date is currently 10th September. I don't touch my game at all for two weeks, and someone in my town has moved out. If I was to check back after those two weeks, would I be able to change the date back to 10th September, and see that no one in my villager roster has moved out?

Basically, just rewind the date to the last time I played...would it mean that the two weeks from September 11-24 actually never happened and nothing changed?

Not sure about freezing, but once something happens in AC, it's done. Going back to an old date will not bring any villagers back.

Pretty sure if you just remember the date you left off then reset your date to the day after that it will be like you never left though... even after years of not playing.

So basically if it's now January 2019 and you remember you left off on the 10th of September 2014, just set the date to September 11, 2014 and you'll be okay.

NOTHING CHANGES IN YOUR TOWN UNTIL YOU START THE GAME.

also without time traveling shenanigans, if you stop a villager from moving and don't load up for the next day (starting at 6am) no villagers will move out no matter how long you're gone

this can also be used if you want to jump months/years ahead but not lose any villagers

keep in mind though the next time you load the game up though, the game will begin the process to having a move-out again

Yup, these two methods are the only ways of know of. They work wonders.

Yes, now that school has started I can't play every day, so I just have Isabelle change my time back to the last day I played.

To make sure I get the date right, I take a pic with my phone of the date and time when I'm saving and closing.

Then, no matter when I play again, I know I'm starting on the right date.

You can either use the Actuvity Log and TT accordingly, or just stop a villager and then quit the same day.

Just keep a note log on your game of what date you last played. ThAt way you know when you start your game you won't lose anyone. If you forget, you can always load up with a new character and just check the town for missing villagers.
