is it possible to clear the void in this game?

hey guys!

so, eloise is in boxes today but i couldn't find anyone to adopt her.

she's going to the void but i don't wanna give a unwanted villager to my friends or random visitors.

is there anyway that i can make her disappear?

is visiting an island with 10 villagers to clear the void still a thing?

Sadly, it appears the 'void' never clears.

I've read this somewhere but... to clear the void, they said that you have to wait until 4 actual days to pass.
So, if you are TTing, you must do it one day at a time, and not skip 4 days ahead.

Allow me to quote:

Sender
It takes 4 consecutive passing days in order for a villager to clear out of your Void. This means you cannot do 4 days all at once (March 1st to March 5th), you have to have to go one day at a time (March 1st, March 2nd.. Etc.). After this 4rd day you are clear to visit or allow people in without causing this glitch.

Receiver
As a receiver, your job is a little easier but also harder:

1. Just don't have any plots ready.
2. However, in the instance that you DO have an open plot, the best way is to just not visit/invite until you can confirm that the other person is "cleaned". If at any time you have a person with a glitched void visit and you either have an open plot or you open a plot, then that plot may get glitched.

So if you don't have a plot and you had a visitor, clear your void by waiting 4 days and then you're clear to build an open plot. This way, you won't get the issue since your void is cleared.

Unfortunately I've heard from many that the void doesn't seem to clear in this game, not sure if there is a method to clearing it but I'm hoping there is!

when you let a villager move out without someone adopting them, they go to the "void"
basically it's just a pool of the villagers that moved out without someone adopting them and when you visit another island or someone visits you, you can pass them on to that person if they have a plot open
